Democratic Party response to Ed Gillespie economic plan

AFP

va-democratsToday, Ed Gillespie released a five-point “plan” for economic growth that can be summed-up like this: 1) Ed would like to continue Sen. Warner’s work in the Senate and 2) Ed is willing to flip-flop on policies he previously supported in order to get the Tea Party Republican nomination.

The warmed-over stump speech Ed released today asks Virginians to hold him accountable, and we decided to take him up on his request.

“The only news in Ed Gillespie’s ‘plan’ is that he’s still offering nothing but vague platitudes and has yet to articulate a reason why he wants to be hired by Virginia voters,” said Democratic Party of Virginia spokesperson Ashley Bauman. “Virginians will see right through his attempts to whitewash his record as a million dollar lobbyist and partisan operative.”
