Four DuPont Community Credit Union employees were promoted recently to management positions, including: retail services specialist, compliance officer, credit manager, and systems implementation specialist.
“DuPont Community Credit Union is pleased to make these important additions to our management team,” said Gerald B. Hershey, president and CEO at the Waynesboro-based credit union. “The promotions reflect the value and contributions these managers are making to the credit union.”
Those receiving the promotions were:
– Michelle Sligh, who was promoted to retail services specialist. Sligh has 23 years of banking experience, 19 years with DCCU. Her most recent position was credit manager. Sligh has an associates degree from Blue Ridge Community College and numerous credit union certifications in branch and lending operations.
– Jason Clarke, who was promoted to a management position as compliance officer. Clarke has 10 years of banking experience, and five years with the credit union. Prior to serving as compliance officer he served as a member service executive. Clarke is certified as a credit union compliance expert.
– Peter Santana, who was promoted to credit manager. Santana has two years of banking experience with DCCU. His most recent position with the credit union was financial analyst. Santana graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance. Santana is also a graduate of the Credit Union Executive Society School of Business Lending.
– David Whitcomb, who was promoted to a management position as systems implementation specialist. Whitcomb worked in public education, construction, and university student leadership development before joining DCCU. He has a bachelor of science degree from Penn State.
