A Wild Safari theme will greet campers at the Staunton Day Camp scheduled for the Grand Caverns Regional Park in Grottoes July 14-18.

Girls of all ages are welcome at the camp, which is sponsored by the Girl Scouts of the Virginia Skyline Council.

Girls don’t have to be involved in Girl Scouts to be able to participate. Girls do have to have completed kindergarten in the 2007-2008 school year to be able to attend.

The camp will run daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The deadline to register is July 1. The cost to attend is $60 for the whole week.

For information about Staunton Day Camp or other Girl Scout camping opportunities this summer, or to request a copy of Girl Scouts’ summer camp brochure, call 540-777-5121 or visit www.gsvsc.org/c_dates.htm.

For information about joining a Girl Scout troop, call Girl Scouts of Virginia Skyline Council at 540.777.5100 or 800.542.5905.
