Dan Moxley endorsed by former Virginia Tea Party chair Mark Daugherty

dan moxleyRepublican Dan Moxley was endorsed by Augusta County’s own Mark Daugherty today in the race for the 24th Senate District GOP nomination.

Daugherty is a former chair of the Virginia Tea Party Patriots Federation and coordinated more than 40 tea party groups around the state during his time at the helm.

“I’m pleased to endorse Dan Moxley for the Virginia Senate in the 24th district,” Daugherty said. “In an era of big government, higher taxes, and increased regulations that hurts business expansion, jobs growth and economic prosperity, Dan Moxley will be a passionate advocate and fierce fighter for smaller government, lower taxes, and fewer regulations.”

“I am honored to have the endorsement of a friend and committed advocate for Constitutional liberty and law in our Commonwealth,” Moxley stated.  “Mark and I have been working together for a number of years, and I am privileged to have his support as we continue working together toward the same goals.”

Daugherty added, “In addition, the citizens of the 24th Senate District will benefit from Dan’s steadfast resolve to protect personal property rights, privacy, the rule of law, the right to life, and 2nd Amendment rights to keep and bear arms.” Daugherty concluded, “Dan will be a servant leader at this critical time in our history where smaller government and more individual and economic liberty must be attained for the citizens and businesses in the 24th District.”
