The following highway work is scheduled, weather permitting, in the Culpeper District during the upcoming week. Traffic movements may be restricted and speed limits reduced in work zones. (NEW) or (UPDATE) indicate revisions since last week’s report.

Albemarle County
Interstate 64 – Sign installation eastbound and westbound near mile marker 120. Right shoulder closed. Be alert for workers near the travel lanes Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

(NEW) Route 6 (Irish Road) – Pipe installation between Route 726 (James River Road) and Route 626 (Langhorne Road). Expect lane closures Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route 29/250 Bypass – Sign work at Route 654 (Barracks Road). Right shoulder closed. Be alert for workers near travel lanes Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
(NEW) Route 29 (Seminole Trail) – Utility work under VDOT permit between Route 743 (Hydraulic Road) and Route 866 (Greenbrier Drive). Left lane and shoulder closed from 9 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
(NEW) Route 29 (Monacan trail Road) – Pipe installation between Route 775 (Rabbit Valley Lane) and Route 804 (Thackers Lane). Left lane and left shoulder closed Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
(NEW) Route 29 (Seminole Trail) – Signal work at Route 643 (Polo Grounds Road). Be alert for workers near the travel lanes Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(NEW) Route 53 (Thomas Jefferson Parkway) – Tree trimming operations between Route 1102 (Michie Tavern Lane) and Route 732 (Milton Road). Expect lane closures Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
(NEW) Route 684 (Lanetown Road) – Pipe installation between Route 691 (Jarmans Gap Road) and Yonder Hill Farm Lane. Road closed to through traffic Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
(NEW) Route 795 (Blenheim Road) – Mobile ditch cleaning operations between Route 622 (Albevanna Springs Road) and Route 726 (James River Road). Expect alternating lane closures Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
(NEW) Route 810 (Dyke Road) – Pipe installation between Route 628 (Simmons Gap Road) and the Greene County line. Road closed to through traffic Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Route 1521 (Timberwood Parkway) – Hollymead Dam Reinforcement Project. Northbound lane closed under VDOT permit from Shadybrook Trail to Cove Pointe Road. Follow signed detour.
Culpeper County
(NEW) Route 15 (James Madison Highway) – Inspection of Route 684 (Bel Pre Lane) bridge over Route 15. Expect single lane closures on Route 15 in both directions Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fauquier County
Route 15/17/29 (Eastern Bypass) – Shoulder closures in both directions near Route 880 (Lord Fairfax Drive) for Warrenton Southern Interchange project. Be alert for workers near the travel lanes Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(NEW) Route 635 (Hume Road) – Pipe replacement between Route 732 (Dixons Mill Road) and Route 730 (Stillhouse Road). Road closed to through traffic Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Use alternate routes.

Route 880 (Lord Fairfax Drive) – Shoulder closures in both directions near Route 15/17/29 (Eastern Bypass) for Warrenton Southern Interchange project. Be alert for workers near the travel lanes Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fluvanna County
(NEW) Route 15 (James Madison Highway) – Tree trimming between Route 631 (Hunters Lodge Road) and Route 250 (Three Notch Road). Expect intermittent lane closures Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
(NEW) Route 629 (Deep Creek Road) – Rehabilitating bridge over Middle Fork Kent Branch near Route 631 (Dogwood Drive). Road closed to through traffic. Follow signed detour. Anticipated completion Oct. 2019.
(NEW) Route 630 (Plain Dealing Road) – Debris removal at bridge over Byrd Creek. Road closed to through traffic Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Louisa County
(NEW) Route 22 (Louisa Road) – Pipe replacement near Route 33 (South Spotswood Trail). Road closed to through traffic Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Orange County
(NEW) Route 20 (Constitution Highway) – Sign installation at Route 231 (Blue Ridge Turnpike). Right shoulder closed. Be alert for workers near travel lanes Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route 3 (Germanna Highway) – Signal and intersection improvements at Route 20 (Constitution Highway). Expect intermittent overnight lane closures from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday.
Rappahannock County
(UPDATE) Route 211 (Lee Highway) – Debris removal and vegetation control between Route 667 (Estes Mill Road) and the Page County line. Expect lane closures controlled by flagging Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
(NEW) Route 211 (Lee Highway) – Debris removal and vegetation control between Route 675 (Old Massies Corner Road) to Route 229 (Rixeyville Road). Expect lane closures Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route 211/522 (Lee Highway) – Westbound bridge replacement over the North Fork Thornton River. Westbound bridge closed to traffic. Obey new traffic pattern. Westbound traffic will use eastbound left lane. Anticipated completion July 2019.
(UPDATE) Route 522 (Zachary Taylor Highway) – Debris removal and vegetation control between Route 632 (Black Rock Ford Road) and the Warren County line Expect lane closures controlled by flagging Monday through Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
(UPDATE) Route 647 (Crest Hill Road) – Pipe replacement about two miles from Fauquier County line. Road closed to through traffic Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Use alternate routes.
