The following highway work is scheduled, weather permitting, in the Culpeper District during the upcoming week. Traffic movements may be restricted and speed limits reduced in work zones. (NEW) or (UPDATE) indicate revisions since last week’s report.

Albemarle County
Interstate 64 – Installation of signs between mile markers 118 and 125. Be alert for workers near the travel lanes Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
(NEW) Interstate 64 – Guardrail repairs between mile markers 112 and 113. Be alert for workers near travel the lanes Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
(NEW) Interstate 64 – Vegetation control operations in both directions between mile markers 99 and 148. Alternating lane closures, Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
(NEW) Route 29 (Seminole Trail)– Guardrail repairs near the Greene County line. Northbound left lane closed from 9 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
Route 654 (Barracks Road) – Construction of sidewalk between Route 601 (Old Garth Road) and Route 656 (Georgetown Road). Expect daily, intermittent lane closures. Anticipated completion June 2018.
Route 743 (Hydraulic Road) – Construction of sidewalk from Route 1315 (Commonwealth Drive) to Route 656 (Georgetown Road). Expect daily, intermittent lane closures. Anticipated completion June 2018.

Culpeper County
Route 522 (Sperryville Pike) – Paving operations between Route 616 (Woodland Church Road and the Rappahannock County line. Obey traffic controls Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(NEW) Route 649 (Cedar Mountain Drive) – Pipe replacement between Route 692 (Old Orange Road) and Route 652 (Mitchell Road). Road closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily Monday through Wednesday.

Interstate 66 – Rehabilitating bridge over Route 725 (Tuckers Lane). Expect brief, mobile lane closures Monday through Friday.

(NEW) Route 15/17/29 (James Madison Highway) – Survey and other preliminary design work for the Warrenton Southern Interchange project at Route 880 (Lord Fairfax Drive). Expect intermittent lane closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Friday.
(NEW) Route 17 (Winchester Road) – Installation of signs between Route 688 (Leeds Manor Road) and Route 724 (Pleasant Vale Road). Be alert for workers near the travel lanes Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Route 688 (Leeds Manor Road) – Rehabilitating Interstate 66 bridge over Route 688. Use caution when traveling through work zone, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Route 724 (Pleasant Vale Road) – Rehabilitating Interstate 66 bridge over Route 724. Expect intermittent flagging operations Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. while crews work underneath the bridge. Use caution approaching work zone and obey traffic controls.
Route 725 (Tuckers Lane) – Rehabilitating Interstate 66 bridge over Route 725. Expect intermittent flagging operations Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while crews work underneath the bridge. Use caution approaching work zone and obey traffic controls.
