Congressman McEachin announces $290,000+ grant for VCU

Donald McEachinCongressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) announced an award of $294,540 in grant funding for Virginia Commonwealth University for medical research about cells role in stress relief.

“I am always pleased to see funding come into the district for medical research. Such research can lead to ground-breaking discoveries that will help Virginians and all Americans stay healthier,” said Congressman Donald McEachin. “It is exciting to see such critical work coming out from our very own Virginia Commonwealth University. We can be so proud.”

The National Institute of General Medical Sciences awarded this grant.
