Community meeting hosted by Albemarle County Board of Supervisors Boyd and Sheffield

albemarleAlbemarle County Supervisors Ken Boyd and Brad Sheffield are hosting a town hall meeting to discuss the Route 29 Improvements, specifically relating to the connection between Berkmar Drive and Ashwood Boulevard.

The intent of this meeting is to provide the public with an understanding of the project, the impact it will have on the larger transportation network, and an opportunity to ask questions and/or express concerns regarding implementation. Details on the concept recommendation package can be found on the Virginia Department of Transportation’s website.

The meeting will be held at the Baker Butler Elementary School at 2740 Proffit Road in Charlottesville on Monday, September 15th from 6:30 – 8:30pm.

Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss areas of concern and interest related to this topic. All citizens are invited and strongly encouraged to attend this meeting.
