Comedian Brett Leake to perform at Carver Recreation Center

Brett Leake 1Charlottesville Parks & Recreation will present a Comedy Night featuring Brett Leake on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Carver Recreation Center. The cost is $5 per person.

“Quality of life” is a phrase Brett Leake uses a lot.  In his youth, the Virginia native was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy.  But he pushed the disability aside and has become a successful comic, gaining national recognition on The Tonight Show, Entertainment Tonight, and the American Comedy Awards.  Brett has a 100% “clean” show and delivers a positive uplifting message about living a life filled with joy and humor.  After his performance on the Tonight Show, Jay Leno said, “He broke up the whole room.  People realized here’s a man with a disability and he’s not gonna’ let it bother him.”

To purchase tickets, please call (434) 970-3053.  Tickets may also be purchased in person at Carver Recreation Center.  There are a limited number of seats available, and tickets are non-refundable.  No alcohol is permitted.
