Colonial Pipeline update: Gas prices up four cents in last 24 hours

newspaperThe recent update from Colonial Pipeline suggests that Line 1 could restart tomorrow, though it will take several days for the fuel delivery supply chain to return to normal.

“Gas prices in Virginia rose eight cents per gallon on average since Friday of last week and will likely continue to rise until the pipeline issue is resolved,” said Tammy Arnette, Senior Public Affairs Specialist for AAA. “Even with rising gas prices, motorists in Virginia are still paying the 9th lowest average gas prices nationwide.”
