Collins Center hosts open house

newspaperIn conjunction with Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Collins Center invites community members to mark the opening of its new Child Advocacy Center in the Ice House in Harrisonburg, on Thursday, April 9, from 4-6pm.

A formal ribbon cutting hosted by the Chamber of Commerce will begin at 4:30. Speakers will include Alycia Eldridge, Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, Eddie Bumbaugh, Executive Director of Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance, and Teresa Boshart Yoder, Collins Center Board President.

The Open House will also include the 19th Annual Sexual Violence Awareness Art Exhibit, housed in the Collins Center’s new conference room.

The Collins Center is now located at 217 S. Liberty Street, Suite 205.
