Clash of the Champions: Waynesboro Generals to meet Stuarts Draft Diamondbacks in benefit game June 3

generals-dbacksThe two-time defending Valley League champion Waynesboro Generals will meet the three-time defending Rockingham County Baseball League champion Stuarts Draft Diamondbacks in a benefit game on Wednesday, June 3, at 7 p.m. at Kate Collins Field in Waynesboro.

Admission is free, with donations being accepted to benefit the Waynesboro YMCA and the Rockingham County Baseball League Hall of Fame.

The Generals and Diamondbacks last met on the diamond in 2013.

The 2015 Generals season gets under way two nights later, on Friday, June 5, at Kate Collins with the VBL season opener against the cross-county rival Staunton Braves at 7 p.m.
