Charlottesville Police investigating early-morning shooting: One injured

Charlottesville Police are investigating a shooting reported at 3:32 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of Hardy Drive.

An adult male victim arrived at the UVA Hospital with a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg, according to a report from the Charlottesville PD.

A scene was located, and 27 casings of four different calibers were recovered.

There is no suspect information at this time.

This remains an ongoing investigation.
