Chronic Disease Self Management Education Coordinator Joyce Nussbaum presented information about the Valley Program for Aging Services and CDSME opportunities to 18 Virginia Power retirees on Dec. 3.
Although the meeting was held in Harrisonburg, the group is represented by people living “from one end of the Valley to the other.”
Joyce was invited to speak at this meeting due to a contact made at the health fair in Verona and many of the group members expressed interest in either attending a workshop or passing information along to a friend or family member.
