Candlelight vigil for Orlando victims tonight in Harrisonburg

orlando shootingCommunity leaders and local Shenandoah Valley businesses will hold a candlelight vigil tonight at 8:30 at Court Square in Harrisonburg for the victims of the Orlando shooting massacre that took place at Pulse nightclub on Sunday.

At the vigil, participants will light candles, pray, sing, and release balloons in memory of the victims of this terrible tragedy.

The event is being orrganized by Rhinestone Productions, the Harriet Tubman Center, and Nexus Services, Inc. Mayor Chris Jones of Harrisonburg will join the vigil and make a statement

Numerous community and business leaders will also speak.
