Buffalo Soldiers charity ride to raise money for Special Olympics

Calendar 2013The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Luray is hosting a charity ride in support of Virginia Special Olympics on Saturday.

The ride will be escorted by Virginia State Police and leaves from the Best Western Inn & Suites at 109 Apple Tree Lane, Waynesboro, Va., at 11 a.m., and will end at Shenandoah Harley-Davidson, Staunton, where participants will enjoy a catered lunch, a DJ, and bike games.

Fifty-plus riders from the east coast will participate in the charity ride.

Registration for the event begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Best Western PLUS Waynesboro Inn & Suites Lobby; a $25 donation covers one rider. Donation for rider and passenger is $35.
