Bobby Fulton of the classic 1980s tag team The Fantastics is in need of eye surgery to prevent him from going blind after having a stroke in his right eye.
Fulton, whose career began in 1977 at the age of 16, attributes his issues to taking repeated chair shots to the head.
“I took it like a man, which may have been stupid, but I did it anyway,” said Fulton, who has started an indiegogo account to try to crowdfund money for the surgery to his right eye.
“We’re kind of behind the 8-ball,” said Fulton in a video testimonial posted to the indiegogo page.
“I’m just asking you if you will keep me in your prayers. I hope that eventually my eyesight is straightened up,” Fulton said.
