Bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater speaks at Stuart Hall School

staunton2editsNew York Times bestselling young adult author Maggie Stiefvater will speak tonight  at  Stuart  Hall  School  to  an  audience  of  more  than  100 community  members from across the Valley.

A free event and open  to  the  public,  this book presentation and  reception will  include a discussion of Stiefvater’s major works and a reception for question and answer following.

Stiefvater is author of the Shiver  trilogy,  of which there are more  than 1.7 million copies in print, and which has been called “the perfect indulgence for readers of all ages” by BookPage. The second book in the trilogy, Linger, debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. Stiefvater’s latest work, The Scorpio Races, was on The New York Times’ list of Notable Childrens’ books in 2011, and was a Los Angeles Times Book Times Award finalist for 2012.

An Evening with Maggie Stiefvater will begin  at  6:30  p.m. at  the Stuart Hall  School Staunton  campus:  235 West Frederick Street, Staunton.
