On Saturday, Oct. 5, volunteers for Highland Second Wind joined members of Stonewall Ruritan Club to host a pancake dinner to benefit Meals on Wheels in Highland County. Preparations began in the afternoon to offer pancakes, sausage, and sausage gravy to a steady stream of diners.
By 8:30pm, with the last pots scrubbed, the crew was tired but all agreed it was fun and successful with $1,000 raised for Highland County Meals on Wheels.
