Bedford County: Fincastle man dies from injuries in single-vehicle crash

A Fincastle man died from injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Bedford County on Friday.

Robert Taulbee Meador, 34, of Fincastle, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe that ran off the right side of Jordantown Road, overturned and struck several trees at 10:05 p.m. Friday, according to Virginia State Police.

Meador, who was not wearing his seatbelt, died at the scene, according to the report from VSP.

The crash remains under investigation.
