Mike Wright had a solid outing, and the Baltimore Orioles went deep four times in a 9-3 win over Detroit on Saturday.
The O’s (23-12) won their sixth straight, with Wright (2-3, 5.20 ERA) going seven innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out six and walking three.
Jonathan Schoop homered twice, his sixth and seventh of the season, and Matt Wieters and Adam Jones also hit home runs for Baltimore.
Jones went 2-for-3 at the plate to raise his batting average to .259.
Mark Trumbo also had two hits for the O’s.
