A Mark Trumbo two-run homer keyed a three-run Baltimore first, and the Orioles never trailed in a 5-2 win over the Cleveland Indians on Saturday.
Trumbo (.283/.336/.570, 30 HR, 73 RBI) homered after an RBI fielders choice from Chris Davis (.228/.339/.475, 22 HR, 59 RBI) had put the O’s on the board.
Pedro Alvarez (.240/.303/.475, 12 HR, 30 RBI) hit a solo homer in the seventh.
Kevin Gausman (2-7, 3.77 ERA, 1.27 WHIP) got the win for Baltimore (56-40) with seven shutout innings, allowing four hits, striking out seven and walking three.
Zach Britton (32 saves, 0.65 ERA, 0.79 WHIP) notched the save.
