Baltimore falls at Oakland, 5-0

lgo_mlb_baltimore_oriolesChris Bassitt cooled off the streaking Baltimore Orioles with seven innings of five-hit ball, lifting the Oakland A’s to a 5-0 win Tuesday night.

Bassitt (1-4, 2.64 ERA) struck out seven and walked two in earning his second Major League victory.

Miguel Gonzalez (9-8, 4.32 ERA) gave up three runs on five hits in five and a third innings, striking out five and walking three.

Baltimore (54-52) drops to six and a half games back of the New York Yankees in the American League East.
