Alexander also hit a homer, his first of the season – and his six RBIs now give him 14 for the season.
Trey Gibson, in his second career start, got the win – statline: 5.2 IP, one run, six hits, four walks, one K.
Baltimore (26-30, 9.5 GB, AL East) has won five of its last five.
The O’s begin a four-game series at Camden Yards with Toronto (27-29, 8.5 GB, AL East) on Thursday.
