Join Marietta McCarty on Feb. 22 for a leisurely lunch featuring South American food to toast the chapter set in Brazil in The Philosopher’s Table.
The luncheon runs from 1-3 p.m. The menu includes salad, chili grilled chicken, herb grilled portobello mushroom, wheatberry salad, yukon potato gratin, roasted yellow squast, chocolate bread pudding and coconut custard.
Marietta’s talk is scheduled for 1:45, an interactive conversation about the merits and the whereabouts of Mental Clarity, February’s topic in the book.
