Augusta Health recently honored its 2013 Teen Volunteers.  The Teen Volunteers are high school students with serious interests in careers in healthcare.  They spend 4-5 weeks at Augusta Health during the summer—they work mornings in a specific department that is an area of interest.  They worked on patient floors, in outpatient surgery, at the Child Care Center, in Medical Imaging, in Wound Care, in the Cardiology practice and in the Pharmacy.

This summer’s Teen Volunteers were:  Morgan Bradley, Luis Cancino, Morgan Chestnut, Robin Cooter, Codi Darrikhuma, Savannah Davis, Brad Dressler, Gabriella Gallego-Garcia, Mary Jordan, Anna McIntyre, Emma Parolisi, Anthony Randozzo, Gabby Springer, Christian Taylor, Vicky Troyer and Mitch Whigham.
