Augusta County: Sheriff’s office seeks suspect in rash of vehicle larcenies

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with locating and identifying a suspect in a series of vehicle larcenies that occurred sometime between May 20 and May 21.

On May 21, deputies took three reports of theft for items taken from motor vehicles; two in Verona and one in Waynesboro.

The suspect(s) reportedly took items from vehicles, including credit cards that were later used.
