Augusta County to hold Spring Cleanup

augusta countyThe Augusta County Spring Clean-Up will be held April 9-16.  The Augusta Regional Landfill, 749 Christians Creek Rd, Staunton, will collect the following between 8 a.m. and 4:15 p.m, Monday – Saturday.

Automotive waste
Motor oil, transmission oil, hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, lead-acid batteries, and anti-freeze.  Gasoline or other hazardous materials will not be accepted.

Free Tire Disposal
6 car tire limit per household – Fees will not be waived for tractor trailer tires.  Tires on split rims or from businesses will not be accepted.

Goodwill Industries
Clothing, shoes, housewares, furniture, books, computers and small electronics.  No TVs will be accepted 

Appliance Disposal Locations
Augusta Regional Landfill, dumpster locations: Crimora, Augusta Springs, Greenville, Mt. Solon and New Hope.

Ruritan Club Cleanup Locations
Community Ruritan Clubs will be assisting with the clean-up.  Please contact your area Ruritan Club for more information.
