Augusta County Board of Supervisors to meet today

The Augusta County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday for a staff briefing.

The meeting begins at 1:30 at the Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona.

The agenda for the meeting follows.

– Road report from the Virginia Department of Transportation.

– Discuss the recommendation from the Community Development Department to adopt a resolution to accept Spring Lakes Sections 1B, 2A and 3A into the secondary-road system.

– Discuss recommendations relative to the county fire and rescue master plan relative to the Company 10 relocation and the Riverheads District Fire and Rescue Station.

– Discuss process to identify a site for locating a bulk-water system for sale of Augusta County Service Authority water to individuals and vendors in the Riverheads District.

– Discuss scheduling a joint meeting with the ACSA and the Planning Commission to consider Service Authority recommendations.

– Discuss Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren request for fire-flow waiver as per section 24-2(E) of the County Code (Middle River District).
