Another rash of vehicle break-ins in Waynesboro

The Waynesboro Police Department is investigating over a dozen vehicle burglaries that occurred in the city overnight Thursday into Friday.

The vast majority of the unlocked, parked vehicles were targeted in the southeast area of Waynesboro, including Lyndhurst Road, Washington Avenue, Charles Street and Western Road.

Another one each were reported on South Magnolia and in the 1400 Block of B Street, respectively

Once again, the primary target of the thieves was electronic devices such as GPS units. However, loose change and jewelry were also taken.
