Another new McAuliffe TV ad hits Cuccinelli in familiar spot

AFP

Yeah, it’s getting dirty. Dirtier. Much dirtier.

The latest from the Terry McAuliffe gubernatorial campaign, “Bunch,” continues with the message that Republican Ken Cuccinelli is too extreme for Virginia.

This one plays up the lawsuit he pursued as attorney general against a UVa. professor’s climate-change research and his troublesome record on women’s rights.

Seems to be a sweet spot for the McAuliffe campaign.

“Ken Cuccinelli has proven countless times that he is far too extreme for Virginia voters,” said McAuliffe spokesperson Josh Schwerin. “Whether it’s attacking science or restricting women’s access to healthcare, Virginians can surely expect that as governor Cuccinelli would continue to put his extreme ideology ahead of what Virginia families care about.”

Making the case for universal health care: The message is the message
