It’s not quite time to worry, but … OK, it might be time to start worrying. Baltimore lost for the seventh time in 10 games, dropping a 3-1 decision to the Los Angeles Angels Friday night at Camden Yards.
An eighth-inning homer by J.J. Hardy was the offense, as the O’s managed just five base hits on the night. Angels starter Jared Weaver (2-4) gave up a run on three hits in seven and a third innings, striking out three and walking one.
Huston Street picked up his 12th save with a scoreless ninth.
Wei-Yin Chin (1-2) was the tough-luck loser, giving up two runs on five hits in seven inning of work, striking out seven and walking two.
Albert Pujols hit a solo homer in the first, his sixth of the season and 526th of his career.
