Allen raises $1.4M in first quarter

AFP

The George Allen for U.S. Senate campaign announced on Tuesday that it has raised more than $1.4 million since the start of the year.

The first quarter report will show that the Allen campaign has nearly $2.66 million cash-on-hand.

“Susan and I are thankful for the important support and hard work of our dedicated grassroots team,” Allen said in a statement. “The generosity we have seen from people in every region of Virginia is truly heartening.  We are proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder alongside so many caring people who share our vision for a better future than the one we are having to endure these days.  Together we will bring the voices and values of the people of Virginia to Washington.

“Virginia families and small business owners know there is a better way forward and they are energized to bring positive change to Washington.  We will continue to advocate a proven, pro-job-growth agenda to create jobs, unleash our plentiful energy resources and help restore the promise of the American Dream.”
