Albemarle County Police searching for suspect in Monday night armed robbery

The Albemarle County PD has put out an alert related to a Monday night armed robbery.

According to the PD, a masked man entered The Trading Post, which is located in the 3000 block of Monacan Trail Road, at 8:50 p.m. on Monday, produced a firearm and demanded cash.

The suspect, seen in the accompanying photo, was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black gloves and a black face mask.

The suspect left on foot in an unknown direction of travel with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported from this incident.
