Albemarle County Police make arrest in North Garden armed robbery

Albemarle County Police have made an arrest in the Dec. 23 armed robbery at a North Garden business.

Dakotah A. Cenno, 26, of Charlottesville, is currently being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail, according to a release from the ACPD.

Cenno faces three felony charges in connection with the robbery, which was reported at 8:50 p.m. at The Trading Post, which is located in the 3000 block of Monacan Trail Road.

According to the initial report on the incident, a masked man entered the business, produced a firearm and demanded cash.

The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.
