Mint Springs Valley Park in Albemarle County is closed due to damage to the roadway near the entrance caused by severe weather and flooding associated with Hurricane Helene.

A press release from the county reports that no entry is permitted at this time, and there is no estimated reopening date as staff assess the extent of the repairs needed.

This location is different from the culvert damaged by Tropical Storm Debby that occurred in August.
