Alan Shelton, Senior Food Scientist with Cargill and Timberville Broadway Senior Center Advisory Council member, spent some time with the TBSC members this morning.
Alan was able to share with us what a food scientist does and brought some examples of their products to share! Alan has been with Cargill for 35 years and says that he is very honored to work with a company like Cargill!
There is still more work to do according to Alan, he has been a part of coming up with approximately 850-900 products but says that he would like to hit 1,000 before he retires! Thanks, Alan, for your time!
