ACC Football Tailgate Tour opens Friday

acc footballThe Atlantic Coast Conference is poised for another record-setting season, and the inaugural ACC Football Tailgate Tour presented by Lumber Liquidators will deliver the pregame excitement to fans throughout the league.

Stops are scheduled at each the ACC’s 14 football campuses, as well as ACC FanFest during the 2016 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game in Charlotte, North Carolina. Syracuse’s opening game versus Colgate on Friday marks the first leg of the tour, which will be presented throughout the upcoming season in conjunction with Raycom Sports and FishBait Marketing.

Former Syracuse standout quarterback Marvin Graves will be on hand for this Friday’s festivities, which will begin at 4 p.m. just outside Gate N of the Carrier Dome and continue until the 7 p.m. kickoff.  A 53-foot tractor trailer will be the centerpiece of the tour. Featuring ACC Football and Lumber Liquidators graphics and images on the exterior, the inside of the truck will be a mix of Lumber Liquidators and ACC Football videos, products, information and equipment.

In addition to the truck, the ACC Tailgate Tour will include representation from the Capital One Orange Bowl, interactive games, and a chance for ACC fans to receive giveaways and register to win a Lumber Liquidators room makeover and a trip to the 2016 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game.  Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment is executing the Tour on behalf of Lumber Liquidators and the ACC.

  • Saturday, Sept. 10 – Penn State at Pitt
  • Saturday, Sept. 17 – South Carolina State at Clemson
  • Thursday, Sept. 22 – Clemson at Georgia Tech
  • Saturday, Sept. 24 – Pitt at North Carolina
  • Saturday, Oct. 1 – Virginia at Duke
  • Friday, Oct. 7 – Clemson at Boston College
  • Friday, Oct. 14 – Duke at Louisville
  • Thursday, Oct. 20 – Miami at Virginia Tech
  • Saturday, Oct. 22 – North Carolina at Virginia
  • Saturday, Oct. 29 – Boston College at NC State
  • Saturday, Nov. 5 – Pitt at Miami
  • Friday, Nov. 11 – Boston College at Florida State
  • Saturday, Nov. 19 – Clemson at Wake Forest
  • Saturday, Dec. 3 – 2016 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game (Charlotte, N.C.)
