Winners and Losers column by Chris Graham

WINNER: 48-nil
Was Virginia really 0-15 in the state of Florida before last Saturday night?
That’s some way to get off the schneid.
Next up – the schneid that has the ‘Hoos losing seven of their last eight to the Colossus from Blacksburg.

WINNER: Tyrod Rulez!
OK, so he’s clearly the more talented of the two quarterbacks in the two-quarterback rotation at Virginia Tech.
And another Hokie signal-caller makes his name against Florida State …
(At least this one did so in a winning cause.)

LOSERS: ‘Skins blow another late lead at home
And to an NFC East foe to boot.
I’m going to go out on a limb here – Washington is not going to make the playoffs this year.

LOSERS: D2 and D3 football in Virginia
Only Hampden-Sydney makes the playoffs among the thousand or so Virginia teams that play D2 and D3 football.
What happened to ye – VUU, Bridgewater, Christopher Newport …

WINNERS: UR beats Delaware in 5 OTs
Am I the only one who thinks the rule that forces teams to go for two from the third overtime on is too clever by half?
I mean, like, sure, two-point conversions are easy.
So if both teams are just as likely to miss those as they are to make extra points …
Never mind.

Mark Warner is starting to get it, that go along to get along isn’t going to work with Trump 2.0, that his predilection for being thought of as a radical centrist is outdated when the other side thinks everybody else is the enemy, and isn’t willing to triangulate.
