#25 UVa. basketball wins at Davidson, 70-57

uva-logo-new2Mike Tobey led four UVa. players in double figures with 18 points as the #25 Cavaliers won at Davidson, 70-57, on Saturday.

Virginia (2-1) led by just two at the half, 29-27, before breaking the game open with a 22-9 run after halftime.

Malcolm Brogdon had 17 points, and freshman point guard London Perrantes had five points and five assists in his first career start.

• The Cavaliers (2-1) are now 11-4 all-time against Davidson

Virginia has won seven consecutive games against Davidson

• UVa outscored Davidson, 36-8, in the paint.

Virginia had a 31-3 advantage in points off the bench.

 

Player Notes
• Mike Tobey led Virginia with a season-high 18 points.

Malcolm Brogdon had a career-high 17 points.

London Perrantes made his first collegiate start and had five points, five assists and no turnovers.
• Akil Mitchell had a season-high nine rebounds.
