We’re #1: Fishburne postgrad basketball tops national rankings

AFP

The Fishburne Military School postgrad basketball program has scaled a new height: the top of the national polls.

slider1For the first time in the program’s five-year history, the Caissons are #1 in the country, on the strength of back-to-back wins in this weekend’s FMS Best Western Caisson Shootout.

Fishburne (12-1) defeated Miller School 107-87 on Thursday and topped Kiski School (Pa.) 76-63 on Saturday.

Three other Virginia PG programs are in the NextUp Recruits Top 10 – Hargrave Military Academy (#5), Massanutten Military Academy (#8) and Fork Union Military Academy (#10).

Fishburne travels to Chatham to play Hargrave in a game on Wednesday.
