William & Mary jumped out to a 7-0 lead on the opening possession of the game. After a solid return to its own 49, the Tribe moved it the remaining 51 yards in nine plays, capped off by quarterback Michael Callahan hitting tight end Alex Gottlieb with a 3-yard pass in the left corner of the end zone.
