Virginia Tech’s Jeff Allen has been selected as the ACC Player of the Week.

Allen recorded a pair of double-doubles in conference road games this past week. He opened the week with a 15-point, 11-rebound performance in a 77-69 win at NC State Wednesday. In Saturday’s 58-56 loss at Boston College, the Washington, D.C., senior scored 25 points, grabbed 19 rebounds and had three steals.

Allen now has four consecutive double-doubles, 11 this season and 39 for his career, which is tops among active ACC players.
