Long & Foster’s Emma Drummond earns associate broker status

Emma DrummondLong & Foster Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has announced that Emma Drummond has successfully completed the requirements to earn associate broker status.

Drummond is an agent with Long & Foster’s Staunton Waynesboro office, located at 19 Briar Knoll Court, Suite 4, Fishersville, Va. Drummond began her career in 1999 and has been affiliated with Long & Foster since January 2015. In addition to earning associate broker status, Drummond has also received the designations of Graduate, Realtor Institute, Certified Residential Specialist, and Certified New Homes Specialist.

“Obtaining an associate broker license meets another of my real estate career goals, while providing increased professionalism as I serve my clients. I value education and realize the importance of being fully informed, in order to offer superior real estate services. Completing 180 hours of coursework in property law, contract law, and Virginia brokerage law provides me with the additional knowledge needed to navigate complex transactions for sellers and buyers,” Drummond said.

Drummond is a member of the Greater Augusta Association of Realtors, and the Virginia Association of Realtors. Drummond holds a Master’s Degree from James Madison University, and she currently resides in Mint Spring with her husband, George.
