The Waynesboro Family YMCA and Augusta Free Press Publishing are teaming up to offer Y Magazine – a full-color tabloid magazine complete with health columns and tips and a complete program guide for the Y.
The first issue will be available in April, and a limited number of advertising spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Augusta Free Press publisher Crystal Graham will handle editorial layout and ad sales for the publication. Waynesboro Family YMCA executive director Jeff Fife will work with staff members on content selection for each issue. Three issues of the Y Magazine are planned for 2009.

The new Y Magazine will be …
– Distributed to patrons of the Waynesboro Family YMCA
– Distributed as an insert via The News Virginian
– Distributed as insert via the Shenandoah Shopper (distributed to all households in the city of Waynesboro)
– Mailed to YMCA members outside of Waynesboro city limits

The first edition hits the streets April 22, 2009, with a print run of 25,600.

The ad reservation deadline for the issue is March 15, 2009. The copy deadline is also March 15, 2009.

For more information on the Y Magazine or to reserve an advertising space, contact Crystal Graham at 540.949.6574 or [email protected].
