Terry McAuliffe’s campaign announced on Monday that he raised more than $7.3 million during the months of July and August from more than 7,400 donors. Heading into the final stretch of the campaign, McAuliffe’s cash on hand is just over $5 million.
Republican rival Ken Cuccinelli’s campaign announced on Monday nearly $5.7 million raised with over $2.2 million cash on hand.
The Cuccinelli campaign received contributions from 10,304 donors in the July 1-Aug. 31 period.
