Cuccinelli receives NVTC TechPAC endorsement

AFP

cuccinelli-header2Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli released the following statement after securing the endorsement of the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC) TechPAC. The NVTC is considered one of the premier business organizations—not just in Virginia—but nationwide.

NVTC’s TechPAC is made up of business leaders in the high-tech sector and other industries that will play a leading role in shaping the Commonwealth’s economic growth in the short and long term.

Statement on the endorsement from Ken Cuccinelli:

“As an engineer, a patent lawyer and a Northern Virginian, I am grateful to the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s TechPAC for its support and endorsement of my candidacy for governor. We worked very hard to secure the endorsement because NVTC is one of the premier business organizations in America. We are thrilled that the TechPAC agrees that my platform and experience presents the best vision to bring high-tech jobs to Virginia and ensure our Commonwealth remains one of the best places to start a business and raise a family. We earned the endorsement on the depth and breadth of my experience and because of the strength of our jobs, workforce investment and veterans plans, all of which are linked by lowering taxes, investing in human capital and focusing on technologies such as biosciences and cyber security to create 58,000 jobs and grow the economy. I believe Virginia can continue to make strides against our economic competitors if we remove government barriers to investment, responsible risk taking and job growth.

“With 50 days to go until Election Day, I’m the only candidate in this race with a substantive, positive vision for the future and a real record of fighting for Virginia. That’s why we continue to gain the support of groups like NVTC TechPAC and Virginians from across the Commonwealth.”
