Intern Begins Working With CDSME

cdsmp-logoOphelia Addai Boateng, James Madison University Senior majoring in Public Health Education, will be spending the next eight weeks as an intern with the Chronic Disease Self-Managment Education Program.

Ophelia will be doing research, entering data, working on publicity and marketing and participating in workshops and scheduled meetings. She will also be helping in other areas of the Harrisonburg Rockingham Region and is looking forward to learning about assessments and helping at the Senior Centers.

Ophelia was welcomed today at Price Rotary Senior Center and experienced Bingo for the first time and is looking forward to learning more about VPAS and having many new learning experiences in the next eight weeks.
