terry mcauliffe2Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe released the following statement after the Democratic Party of Virginia certified him as the official Democratic nominee for governor on Tuesday:

“I am grateful for the support of Virginians from all parties and from every corner of Virginia.  This is thanks to the roughly five hundred volunteers who carried petitions to all corners of the Commonwealth to help me get on the ballot.  With their help, I will continue to work tirelessly to spread our message of finding mainstream ideas to make Virginia the best for business.  Together, we can continue to find bipartisan solutions to build on the progress of the transportation compromise that will help Virginia overcome the extreme gridlock that has plagued our roads and our government for far too long.”
