Ben Cline, Sixth District congressman, Republican, MAGA, lifelong government employee who pretends otherwise to hate government, took to his socials on Monday to try to use Beth Macy’s success in life against her, again.
This is what jealous people do.
Ben Cline, since graduating from college, has never not gotten a paycheck from a state or federal government entity.
Beth Macy, since graduating from college, has had to slough it as a bestselling author with a hit TV series, all about life here in Virginia.
So, when Cline has this to say about Macy online …
“Hollywood Beth” is pulling out all her famous leftist friends to help her, but all the endorsements and money from Tinsletown won’t work – folks around here want commonsense conservative policies in Washington, not another member of the radical “Squad.”
… I had to check the most recent campaign finance reports for the two, to see who is getting the support from the leftists in California.
I knew what the answer would be before I did the math.
Turns out, it’s Ben Cline, who, per his most recent Federal Election Commission report on file, has raised, to date, $127,228.81 from individuals and PACs in California.
Macy’s California money, per her FEC report: $76,449.20.
Ol’ “Hollywood Ben Cline” sure does seem to have a lot of support out there on the Left Coast.
